Cairo, Egypt, January 21, 2020- African Volleyball confederation “CAVB” declared the 2020 Beach volleyball calendar for a heavy season in the Olympic year.
The busy season started already in January with completing the Sub-zonal phase of the 2020 CAVB Continental Cup, which is the qualifying procedure for Tokyo Olympic Games.
From the middle of February until the end of March, thrills will continue with the second round of the CAVB Continental Cup where 20 men and women teams will compete in four pool to determine the top 8 teams who will proceed to the finals of the Continental cup.
The CAVB Men and Women U19 African Beach Cup “CAN”, will be held on May 6 to 10, 2020, which acts also as a qualifier for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship of this age category.
Emotions will return back 21 to 28 June, 2020 when the finals of the CAVB Continental Cup take place to determine the African representative in both Men and Women categories in the Olympic Games.
The African qualifiers will represent the continent in the FIVB U19 Beach VB World championship to be hosted in Thailand 1-9 September, 2020.
