Kampala, Uganda 27th November 2019. The 21st Edition of the annual KAVC Holliday Clinic opens next month in Lugogo.

The Youth Volleyball training program starts on 2nd of December 2019 and breaks off on 20th December 2019.

The volleyball clinic will then resume on 6th January 2020 and officially close on 24th January 2020.

The sessions targeting holiday makers is slated for 3 days each week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm)

The KAVC Holiday Cliunic has formed a foundation for Volleyball development in UIgada, notable names to have come from the Holiday Clinic in the last decade are Joel Endra, Mathew Mwenyi, Carlos Omua, Diana Asiimwe amongst others.

The programs coordinator Isa Mafabi has invited over 70 youngsters to the annual event.

The KAVC holiday clinics are one of the approaches of promoting the advancement of volleyball in the country and are one of those methods the club has always undertaken to support the UVF efforts.


KAVC founded 49 years ago (1970) is one of the leading premier sports clubs in Uganda and is affiliated to Uganda Volleyball Federation.

To-date, KAVC has a membership of over 500 persons and governed by a constitutionally elected executive committee, it has and continues to play an important role in promoting the game of volleyball in the nation and region at large.

The club’s mission is to Champion better community health & behavior through sports promotion.
