Yaounde, Cameroon, May 7, 2021- Cameroonian volleyball international star Victoire Ngon Ntame was elected as Cameroon’s National Olympic and Sports Committee (Cnosc) president this week.

The former 35-year-old volleyball player was appointed as the head of the newly created body, accompanied by five other athletes from various sports.

Ntame represented Cameroon in many major events, winning the African nation championship in 2017, before ending her international career in April 2019.

At the club level, Ntame played for Cameroonian giants INJS and FAP Yaounde
