Cheonan, South Korea, 27th January 2021. Ugandan international, Daudi Okello scooped a double award at the Korean Volleyball League 2021.
Okello who plays for Skywalkers was named most Valuable player of the fourth round in the Korean Volleyball League.
The icing on the cake was also being named in the all Star team alongside Malian sensational Noumory Keita.
“I made 172 points in 6 games giving me 67% overall and being MVP of the 4th Round, I am grateful to my teammates, family and fans for the support”. Okello said.

Okello’s Skywalker had a torrid 1st and 2nd round owing to a drastic trade-off of some senior players in the first round.
“In the third and fourth round we stabilized a bit and are now getting results”. Okello said.
Noumory Keita’s KB Stars humbled Okello’s Hyundai Skywalkers 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 25-20, and 25-17) on the road this afternoon in the game that has kept the 2nd on the log.

Skywalkers lie 6th on the 7 man log with 2 rounds left. Skywalkers will only play for rankings as play offs dreams were dashed by bad performances in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round.
The 6th round ends on 17th March 2021, thereafter the top 3 will head to the play offs.
