Cairo, Egypt, July 6, 2020- In the framework of African Volleyball Confederation’s regular support to Volleyball Athletes following Coronavirus Pandemic, CAVB Online Academy will invite Zahra Gamir who is one of the most talented woman fencing athlete in Africa and actually fencing Master and Mental Preparation in a webinar attended by athletes from all over Africa.
The webinar will take place on Friday June 10, 2020 at 20:00 Cairo Time, 18:00 GMT under the title of “Mental preparation after Covid-19” and will be opened for every member in the sport family. CAVB Academy Director Mohamed Benhamida will conduct the webinar.
Zahra Gamir is Former Algerian high level fencing athletes, Fencing Weapon Master, Fencing and Mental Preparation Coach.
She participated in 2 Olympic games in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. She won several international and national titles including 6 African Champions in individual and in teams epee and foil, 5 Arab individual and team championships epee and foil.
She was also a gold medallist at the 2004 Arab games, a finalist in the 2000 Ipswish World Cup, and French champion by team in 2002 and 2003 with the Racing club of France.
